Samsung StoreLet the children have their ferris wheels and big stuffed African animals, give me sound systems, the slimmest phones you have ever seen and motion animated maps of New York. I have fallen in love–with a toy store. The kind I could roam around for an hour instead of, well, actually shopping. I am talking about the Samsung Experience.

The other morning, I actually woke up before the sun. Usually I only see this time of day when I haven’t gone to bed and I am stretching whatever good time is left of the night to its last nanosecond. But this day was a different story. And what, pray-tell, did I break my sleeping record to go do? Head out on that sunrise run? Go to work like the rest of the corporates? Nope! I went to go wait in line…for the unreleased Sidekick 3. I plan to be the first one of my friends to have the flying car…so I certainly must be the first one to have this crack-like gadget in my grasp!

Treo 700p Launch at Skylight

Treo 700Being the established techie of the group, I just recently attended the Treo 700p smartphone Summer Launch Party at Skylight. Just a little precursor…the last Treo 700 release ran Windows Mobile (boo) and now released a second reincorporating the ever-popular and easy-to-use palm OS software. For more info on this history, check out Engadget. Since I saw the genius in combining toys for adults (at least for me) and open bar, I decided to bust-a-move to get there in relative time, since the Early Bird event started at 5pm.
