Red Hot Chili Peppers

Whats better than seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers live? How about seeing them live for free and being in the front row? Yep, Fuse TV had an awesome live studio performance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers to promote their new big hit CD Stadium Arcadium. Before the show started I exchanged a few words with frontman Anthony Kiedis. I complained about the heat and we proceeded to have an in-depth conversation about puking on stage and drinking booze, you know - the usual. They opened the show with “Can’t Stop” and breezed through a short 10 song set which included their new single “Dani California,” and an older hit “Scar Tissue.” Halfway through the show Anthony Kiedis took off his shirt and revealed that we had been wearing the same white Ralph Lauren wife beater (it looked better on me). After what seemed like a moment, their set was over finishing with “Me and My.” Despite presure from my friends, I resisted the temptation to crowd surf which was probably for the best considering the size of the studio and the extremely expensive equipment that surrounded us. After the show, the four band members all got into separate cars and went their own ways but not before Anthony (yea, we’re on a first name basis now) personally thanked us all for coming and told me we were “the best studio audience they’ve ever had”-EVER.
