Sergio Davila Fall/Winter 2006
February 13th, 2006 by EdinaYesterday, I attended the Sergio Davila fashion show for the fall season of 2006. Davila’s inspiration was a fashionable untamed America, everything from the mid-west cowboy theme to biker jackets, while keeping a realistic view of what he himself would wear. Knitwear is a serious focus of Davila’s, he considers himself a master of knits and that he should. The clothing line had an array of very detailed knits from vests to ponchos followed by very plain tee-shirts, blazers, fine trousers, and stylish jeans. Davila created a ready-to-wear mens line for the well cultured, very fashionable man. While the show only lasted less than 30 minutes, the clothing showed detail that must have taken months to prepare.
